Crémant de Die

Winery and Estate

Vigne de Die

Our winery was set up in 1985 by the joint venture of the MONGE and GRANON families, two wine-growers’ families for four generations. Covering 37 hectares – 86.48 acres – the MONGE GRANON vineyard lies at the heart of the Clairette de Die area.

Being an independent winegrower is to :

  • choose to work the land respecting the wine growing tradition while integrating the technological innovations, always concerned about environmental issues and quality control.
  • run the vineyard and produce a wine that has received all the attention needed.
  • be in charge of commercializing and marketing the products.

The multiplicity of tasks requires rigour, organization and expertise. It is the sign of a sincere commitment that cannot be achieved without passion and professionalism.

A TERROIR FULL OF CHARACTER Situated in the heart of the Rhône Valley, dominated by mountains, our vineyard grows on rocky and steep hillsides, among the highest in France. Between alpine influences and provencal sun, severe winters and dry summers, our wine owes its character to the contrasting climate of its territory.
