Châtillon en Diois Chardonnay
LAND : this Chardonnay is the produce of several Haut-Diois plots.
SOIL : Clay-limestone soil
GRAPE VARIETY : 100% Chardonnay
WINE-MAKING METHOD : grapes harvested and selected exclusively by hand. The plots are carefully monitored for grape maturity in order to achieve the best picking time.
COLOUR : beautiful light yellow colour with a hint of golden green.
IN-GLASS : fine fruit aroma of white flesh fruit with delicate hints of hazel.
IN-MOUTH : this full and rounded wine is balanced by vivacious tones. It is all at once generous, gourmet and very clean.
DRINK IT WITH : whilst its natural elegance and freshness make it ideal as a pre-dinner drink, it is just as delicious with fresh-water fish either cooked on the grill or in a sauce. PAIRING IT WITH : arctic char, vegetable julienne and beurre blanc.
